awe is a small Finnish fashion brand founded in September 2009. Behind the brand stands the two fashion designers Milla Kettunen and Katarina Eklund and textile and accessory designer Iina Kettunen. At the moment our collection consists of women's casual wear and a wide range of leather accessories, including bags, bracelets, belts etc. awe supports sustainable development and ecological thinking in all our work. We work mainly with natural fibres such as silk, cotton, hemp, bamboo, wool and also some cellulose fiber fabrics such as viscose and tencel. A part of our fabrics are eco-certificated with the Öko-Tex Standard 100. Our accessories are made of genuine Finnish leather. Our object is to use exclusively ecological fabrics but we aren't quite there yet! Our production takes place nearby, in Finland and Estonia.
